Ric Madden's watercolors possess an inspirational, almost dreamlike quality. Inspired by the tropical landscapes of the Hawaiian islands, and especially the island of Kauai, he works primarly from memory and his style is constantly evolving. His subject matter encompass landscapes, portraits, dreamscapes and the incredibly lush flora and fauna of the tropical isles.
